Is The Naked Basics 2 Worth The Hype? Well Here's What I Think.

So I'm super excited about this new Naked 2 Basics palette, I wasn't sure how I'd like it since I already had the Original Naked Basics and when I first looked at it I was just kind of like "eh looks just like the one I already have I don't need it.." But then of course me being me I looked it up again and compared the colors in both palettes and I was pretty surprised! They're so alike yet SO different! This palette is all Matte (Cool Tone) shades, unlike the Original palette which I personally really like. To me this palette is filled with great shades for blending out any eye shadow, using as a transition shade, and just creating different looks with just this one palette. I really think this will be my go to palette whenever I travel because I'm just really loving it!

I figured I would just compare the 2 palettes for you guys so you can see for yourself the difference between both palettes and decide for yourself if you want to try it out or not!

So as you see above the palettes look similar but when you look closely you can definitely tell that they're different. This new palette actually has all new shades in it which is great because usually you'll only have a few new shades and the rest will be repeats from other random palettes.

This Original palette I thought was very nice and blendable until I did swatches and applied the shadows from the Naked Basics 2, these shadows are 100X more creamier and smoother I am in LOVE!

Overall I really love this palette I think it'll be great for on the go or traveling! It's very inexpensive it runs for $29 on the Urban Decay website which I will have linked down below so you can check it out on their website for yourselves. :)
